Book Recomendations

Book 1 of Witches of Eileanan
The Witches of Eileanan (book 1 of WoE)

The first book in the series.  This book is really good for those
of you that love long books (410 pgs) and if you love stories
magic and sorceries.  It's about the witches of Eileanan that are
persicuted now after the "day of Reconing".  It tells the story in
peices of the characters and it's really good....

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED....

Book two in The Witches of Eileanan
The Pool of Two Moons (book 2 of WoE)

I LOVE Lachlan.  These books
are the best!!! another one i RECOMMEND HIGHLY......
I was intranced all through the 400+ pages!!! I've let my
friend borrow it..... there are two people i know that beg me
for the next book too ^_^ weee!!! but this is the part where
they go to overthrow the Banrigh..... lots of fun reading!!!

Book 3 in the Witches of Eileanan
The Cursed Towers (book 3 in WoE)

Once again a spledid novel by Kate Forsyth.  SAME
RECOMMENDATION and everything.  This series is simply
wonderful.  In this book the now Righ must fight to
win peace over the land while fighting the neighboring
country of Tirsolier and the Fairgean.  Isabeau also takes
Bronwen across the mountains with her to the safety of
the Towers of Roses and Thorns.  Read this book and
series to find out what happens!!!

Book 4 in the Witches of Eileanan
The Forbidden Land (book 4 in WoE)

This story gets a little off from the normal characters
and explores the life and adventuresof the Banprionsa
Finn NicRurach.  Out of the series this book is one of
the lower ones onmy RECOMENDATIONS but it is
still one heck of a novel and another splended and
very entertaining book to follow along in the
stories of Eileanan.

Book 5 in the Witches of Eileanan
The Skull of the World (book 5 in WoE)

Mostly following Isabeau, this book, yet again, scores
VERY HIGH RECOMENDATIONS with me.  Isabeau is
finally allowed to adventure to the Skull of the World,
the place where she will recieve her Khan'cobahn name
and totem.  It is very thrilling and after her trials, she
recieves even more unwanted surprises.  So do as I do
and follow Isabeau where she goes.
             READ THIS ALREADY!!!!

6th and final book of Witches of Eileanan
The Fathomless Caves (last book in WoE)

The last book in this grand series, regretably, but
certainly not the least exciting.  The war with Tirsolier
is finally over with for good and all that's left for the
Pact of Peace in Eileanan is for the Fairgean, who
have certainly waged war, to agree and sign.  It's
also time for Isabeau's Sorceress Test and the rising
of the Red Comet.  Those reading the story know
what that means.  Read this ABSOLUTLY STUNNING
conclusion to this great series i plan to read many times
over and over again.  ^_^

Sabriel
Sabriel (book 1 of the Old Kingdom Trilogy)

This Trilogy (the old kingdom trilogy) is my UTMOST favorite.  I read this a couple years ago and have currently read it over again 8 times.  I'm absolutely in love with this book.  It's about a young girl named Sabriel and her growth in maturity from her father's capture and living up to her responsibility of being the next Ahborsen.  HIGHEST RECCOMENDATION

Lirael
Lirael (book 2 in the Old Kingdom Trilogy)

I just read this book this winter and was once again taken into the world of the Old Kingdom.  Taking place about 18-20 years after Sabriel, we find ourselves looking into the lives of Lirael, a very seperate child of the Clayr, and Prince Sameth, prince of the Old Kingdom.  Yes our good old favorite Mogget returns and is funnier than ever.... Read and enjoy all that Lirael has to offer. RECOMMENDED AFTER SABRIEL

Abhorsen
Abhorsen (book 3 of Old Kingdom Trilogy)

Well it was out early!!!! and yeah it took me a month to read it with my busy schedule but I must say, Garth Nix does not want you to have any nerves or sanity left by the end of this book!!!  The book constantly jumps from one thrilling scene to the next with very little in-between time at all.  The plot twists in this are awesome too.  So READ ALREADY!!!!! this conclusion is by far one of Garth Nix's most stunning and awesome productions yet.
